General Privacy Policy

eMotor Group Pty Ltd (“eMotor“) operates and may operate other websites. It is eMotor’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our websites.

Website Visitors

Like most website operators, eMotor collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. eMotor’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how eMotor’s visitors use its website. Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information

Certain visitors to eMotor’s websites choose to interact with eMotor in ways that require eMotor to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that eMotor gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. eMotor does not provide credit and is not an accredited broker or lender. eMotor utilises accredited and experienced third party companies to arrange credit for customers who are interested in our vehicles. eMotor provides personal details provided by interested customers to partner companies for the sole purposes of arranging credit, insuring credit, and occasionally for directing associated marketing products and services that customers may be interested in.

eMotor only utilises reputable accredited finance brokers and lenders to assist interested customers in obtaining credit. eMotor’s partners include, but are not limited to:

As part of assessing an application for credit, eMotor’s partners may need to obtain personal and credit information from employers and credit bureau or credit reporting agency, any person who has or may have any financial dealing with the applicant, or from any references provided. eMotor’s partners may require additional information to complete an assessment and by submitting personal details, the applicant consents to contact from these partner organisations.

In conducting itself as a Motor Car Trader, eMotor may receive information from any lender about an applicant’s credit affairs, and may be required to provide relevant partner organisations with details of whether finance has been approved and, if it has, the terms of that approval, including providing a copy of any approval letter. eMotor will only provide or access this information in the customer’s interests, for example, with the purpose of providing a service or product.
